Quick nap

A quick snap in lieu of a full nap today while we go with Grandma Irene to visit some friends for dinner.

One might say that I'm an amazing husband, skilled and creative. Another might say that as a birthday present, it was pretty cheap and came days late.

Sunflowers

Went to a friends farm yesterday morning and, amongst other things, took some pics by one of their sunflower fields. 

Thursday

The corn seems to be doing best of our garden this year. We had a handful of beans.  Our squash plants have yet to produce a female flower and so we have yet to see any squash or pumpkins. Not sure why that is. 

The carrots are looking good as well. Haven't had any yet. 

We spent some time launching the water rocket today and making nose cone modifications. And then discussing orbiting, fuel requirements, and interplanetary travel. Of course.
