In the pool

We filled the little pool a few days ago. We bought it at the end of summer for like $2 last year. Samuel, of course, loves it, as he love all things that have to do with water.

Hat

Sometimes I can get him to wear a hat.

C!

He calls hair "c" or "see", we think as in "SEE my hair?" from a while back. Now all hair is "c". He likes being on my shoulders. It's usually good for another 1-2 minutes of happiness when he's getting cranky during the last song in church.

Babysitter

Samuel had a babysitter last weekend - Grandma Irene. Good times were had by all.

Jason

Samuel is not always interested in taking pictures.

But with the right technological prodding,

He can usually be caught for a picture.

It was great having Jason here this past weekend. Our only regret was that Mary Jane couldn't make due to work. And that he couldn't stay longer. And that I basically forced him to work on the church landscaping project for 2 days of his visit. But anyway, it was great.

This was a "Cheese!" shot, the first time I think, that we asked him to say "Cheese" and he did, and it turned out a good smile.

I hope. The kid won't sit still. I want to get some more video of him (he is definately more interesting in video than still pictures nowadays). He's saying more letters and numbers so that should be an ideal subject to tape.

Sorry been bad at keeping up with pics. We do have internet access now, so you'd think that would help. I'm pretty sure an iPhone would solve the problem for sure.
